Boehringer Ingelheim industrial site
Boehringer Ingelheim animal health (ex Merial, animal health division in Sanofi) entrusted NOX Group with the project for constructing a new research and development building in view of transferring business activity from its Gerland site to the site in Porte des Alpes in Saint-Priest.
The 200 employees currently working on the Gerland site, managing research and development projects as well as industrialisation projects are all concerned.
NOX Group ensures engineering, construction project management, HSE and helping to get compliance with laboratory rules and regulations. The operations take place on a site in use, with the constraint of not upsetting production. The new industrial building covering a surface area of 4 500 m² will accommodate laboratories on two floors.
The project started in December 2014 and has been cut into 5 stages:
- Design studies and basic studies;
- Anticipating DCE “earthworks/covered areas”;
- Approval for investment;
- Launching the EPCP stage;
- Setting up production (planned for December 2017).
The overall mission will eventually need a total of 15 people in the team, on average for a 3-year period.
