The project includes public equipment and investment for a surface area of 1 480 m² of the building which is listed as a historical monument, dating back to the 17th century and located right in the middle of the hyper-centre in Rennes.

The existing structure will be conserved and renovated to guarantee perfect transfer from old to modern. The new equipment for the estate will include:

  • On the ground floor: A reception area, a children’s sports room, an area for pushchairs as well as a relaxation area for the employees at the nursery;
  • On the garden level: An area for welcoming up to 36 toddlers, an administration department, area for software and a muti-prupose room covering a surface area of 170 m² located in the “Jeu de parme”;
  • On the first floor: Area available for associations and inhabitants.

The building site started in September 2017 is due to be completed in 2019 after 18 months work.
